Shotfirer

Our client is a leading provider of drilling and blasting services to the construction, mining and quarrying industry in Australia. Due to our client’s continuing success, they are seeking a Shotfirer for their NSW Hunter Valley operations. The successful applicant will be a qualified Shotfirer and have extensive experience in their field.  Previous experience in the coal mining industry will be highly regarded.  Responsibilities include: 

• site inspections
• design and mark out drill plans
• loading and scheduling of blasts
• firing and monitoring of blasts

Applicants will possess strong leadership and good communication skills, and have the ability to provide a high level of service to our varied clients. A competitive salary package is on offer and will be negotiated according to experience.
